Liberal Democrat Councillor for Eaglescliffe, Cllr Alan Lewis, is delighted that his calls for action on what had become a magnet for inquisitive youngsters who were risking their lives by playing in and around this lo Alan Lewis outside the derelict buildingng abandoned property have had a quick positive result.

Cllr Lewis was horrified when he found out and on Thursday the 10th November asked Stockton Council to contact the owner to either demolish or securely fence off the property. Due to the quick actions all round, the same day, the owner promised to send in a demolition team on Monday the 14th November.

Until then, Cllr Lewis has been assured that Stockton Council's Enforcement Team and The Police will be giving it extra attention.
