Eaglescliffe Roads and Pavements Round-up

Eaglescliffe councillors Maureen Rigg & John Fletcher have frequently told Stockton Council about the state of the road in Carnoustie Drive - patching has now been completed.

Maureen told the Council that its attempts to stop the subway there from flooding have been unsuccessful. They now think that the problem is a broken storm water pipe near Casper Court and are finding out who is responsible.

Stockton engineers are looking at plans for a cycle route along Burdale Close, Royal George Drive & Chaldron Way to avoid a length of Durham Lane. The foot and cycle path connection thence to the entrance to the Industrial Park is held up by land purchase delays.
