Post Office campaign continues

Jacquie speaking on post offices At today's Harrogate Conference Liberal Democrats continued their campaign to save the Post Office and Royal Mail.

Liberal Democrat Stockton South Parliamentary Spokesman, Jacquie Bell, spoke on the issue in the debate on labour's continuation of closures following the Tories, despite protests across the UK.

She noted that Labour MPs voted to continue the Network for Change programme and did not support the Liberal Democrat motion to protect the Card Account before U turning and crowing that it was being supported by them. Stockton South MP Dari Taylor has done nothing to stop the national programme
