Julia having her head shaved for charity Wanting to support another Councillor, Allison Trainer who represents the Mandale and Victoria Ward for the Thornaby Independent Association, one of our Lib Dem Councillors, Julia Roberts entered a sponsored head shave. Allison is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer, and is raising funds for a number of medical causes. Julia, pictured here, wanted to support Allsion so bravely volunteered to have a head shave.

Allison with Julia If you want to donate, the money raised will go to three Units, Breast Unit at North Tees General Hospital this will go towards a Mama tone Machine, Chemotherapy Day Unit North Tees General Hospital, and the Neurology Unit at James Cook, so if any donations are sent in could you please ask if they can be made payable to Allison Trainer who has a bank account set up to put all sponsor money into and when all collected it will be divided between the three units.
